Perry High School (Ariz.) five-star junior Koa Peat, No. 4 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite, checked out the UNC basketball program on his official visit over the weekend. Undoubtedly, the school's current athletes did their part on the field and court to entertain the 6-foot-8, 235-pound versatile forward.

Peat, who received an offer from head coach Hubert Davis in April and is the Tar Heels' first official visitor in the 2025 recruiting cycle, attended UNC football's 47-45 double-overtime win over archrival Duke in Kenan Memorial Stadium on Saturday night before watching UNC basketball's 90-68 win over Lehigh in the Dean E. Smith Center on Sunday.

Meanwhile, at least two of Davis' three newly inked 2024 signees are helping the Tar Heels pursue Peat.

Northwood (N.C.) five-star forward Drake Powell, who has become almost a weekly visitor to the program this fall, was in town again on Sunday and sat next to Peat at the game.

And on Saturday night, Our Saviour Lutheran (N.Y.) five-star guard Ian Jackson commented on Peat's Instagram post: "KP, you and I both know what you should do."

As shown below, Peat's post contains six photos of himself wearing home and away UNC basketball jerseys during his visit's photoshoot.

Although he boasts roughly 30 offers and has yet to reveal finalists, it's worth noting that Koa Peat has thus far been on only two other official visits: to Michigan in early September and to Texas in late September.

He's among nine 2025 prospects on UNC's offer sheet, all of the five-star variety.
