Christ School (N.C.) cornerback Khalil Conley announced his verbal commitment to the UNC football program in early March after checking out the Tar Heels a couple of times in person and attending basketball games in the Dean E. Smith Center. As of Wednesday, he's a UNC signee.

Conley, a 6-foot, 170-pound three-star who also competes in hoops and baseball for his school, ranks No. 937 overall and No. 30 among North Carolina prospects on the 247Sports 2024 Composite.

The Tar Heels' social media team spotlighted his signing via the following posted hype video and 30-second mixtape of his best plays as a versatile prep:

Here is 247Sports' assessment of Conley as a work-in-progress defensive stopper:

"Conley is a natural playmaker with the physical tools to develop into a collegiate cornerback. His experience at the position is limited — he first gave cornerback a try while wide receiver was his priority throughout the fall — so coaching and development time are required. But, he has great ball skills and instincts, and closes quickly in run support."

Khalil Conley joins 26 others as 2024 UNC football signees in a class that ranks No. 26 in the country and No. 4 in the ACC.
