Reidsville (N.C.) sophomore Kendre' Harrison, a five-star tight end and five-star power forward, visited the UNC football program in September. That wasn't the 6-foot-7, 245-pound chiseled athlete's first trip to campus.

And according to his post on social media on Friday evening, he'll be back in Chapel Hill this weekend.

Presumably, Harrison, who attended Duke football's home loss to Notre Dame last weekend, will be on hand to watch the No. 14 Tar Heels (4-0, 1-0 ACC) take on unranked Syracuse (4-1, 0-1 ACC) at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday (ESPN) in Kenan Memorial Stadium.

Kendre' Harrison, sporting a 4.68 mark in the 40, ranks No. 8 overall, No. 1 among tight ends, and No. 1 in North Carolina on the 247Sports 2026 Football Composite. He landed a scholarship offer from the UNC football recruiters in January and now has dozens of power-five suitors.

As for Harrison's talents on the court, as noted above, he's also a five-star hoopster. He sits at No. 20 overall and No. 5 among power forwards on the 2026 ESPN 25. That's not to mention he's the premier 2026 basketball prospect in the state, per ESPN's ranking.

The following post from late September suggests he may consider playing football and basketball at the next level.

Harrison is among 26 recruits on UNC football's 2026 wishlist. Outside of the quarterback position, he's the highest-ranked Tar Heel target in the class, according to 247Sports.

Meanwhile, UNC basketball head coach Hubert Davis and his cohorts have not extended their first 2026 offer.
