USC Basketball: Trojans Among Teams Partnering with Mamba Sports Foundation

In this story:
Former Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant was an icon to so many across the globe. He was a special talent on the court, but he was also very successful off the court.
His nickname of the Black Mamba took on a life of its own, and it saw people all over bring life to it. While he was taken way too early from this world, his legacy remains as strong as ever.
Recently, multiple college athletic programs have partnered with the Mamba Sports Foundation, and the USC Trojans are included in this.
Five other schools have teamed up with Mamba Sports, including Louisiana State University, the University of Kentucky, the University of Connecticut, the University of Oregon, and Duke University.
This is an incredible opportunity for all the athletic departments that are now involved, and it will further help the foundation grow as well.
Bryant's wife Vanessa Bryant, released a statement to commemorate the occasion.
“We are grateful for the amazing support of these prestigious universities…to further the legacies of Kobe and Gigi!” says Vanessa Bryant. “So excited to see their players wearing Kobe and Gigi’s NIKE shoes this upcoming season!!”
Per Vanessa Bryant
With this new move for these schools, we can likely expect to see the Mamba logo on jerseys going forward. It will be a really cool moment for all fans of Bryant to see these schools have this on their jerseys.

Similar to how some programs use Michael Jordan's famous logo, the Mamba logo will become even more special as time passes.
