USC Women's Basketball: Watch JuJu Watkins Gift Rap Superstar Travis Scott a Trojans Jersey

The USC Trojans women's basketball team had one of its best seasons in recent memory. They made it all the way to the Elite Eight before they fell to the UConn Huskies in a tough defeat.

USC was led by freshman superstar JuJu Watkins all season, as she took college basketball by storm. Watkins entered the year with high expectations, but not many could have predicted the domination she would ensue on opponents.

In 34 games for the Trojans, she averaged 27.1 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. She helped the Trojans become one of the best teams in the country, giving them a realistic shot at winning a championship.

Her impact on the sport in just one season has been incredible and has continued despite the Trojans falling short of the ultimate goal. She recently met with rap superstar Travis Scott and gifted him a Trojans jersey.

Watkins has become a star in her own right all across the nation, helping to bring more relevancy to women's basketball. Her game should only continue to grow as time goes on and the Trojans are thankful she is part of the program.

With Watkins in the mix, USC will likely be contenders going forward. The bitter loss to UConn will fuel USC for next season and her encore year will be something to behold.
