USC Women's Basketball: NBA, WNBA World Taking Notice After JuJu Watkins' Big Night

JuJu Watkins' historic 51-point game has put the professional basketball world on notice.

There might be no one more dynamic than USC Trojans star freshman, JuJu Watkins. Watkins shocked the world by dropping 51 points against Stanford, which is now a USC record.

Watkins has been racking up awards left and right, and is likely to be a #1 overall draft pick for the WNBA, if and when that happens. Her historic night led to many professional athletes giving her a shout-out, including LeBron James and Kevin Durant.

Scoring 51 points is no small feat, and even exists as a huge accomplishment in the professional world. Watkins is already doing this at the college level, meaning she might just be unstoppable by the time she gets to the pros.

Watkins has been on fire since she arrived at USC, and her 51-point game will just add to her legacy. What she has been accomplishing on the court is unreal.

Watkins had already passed up Trojans legend Cheryl Miller for most 30-point games, but she can now be the sole owner of the most points ever scored.

What makes her 51-point game even more impressive is she did so against Stanford, who are #6 ranked nationally and sit at #2 in the Pac-12. Stanford head coach Tara VanDerveer is also the most winningest coach in NCAA history, and could not contain Watkins.
