Alabama Talking To BYU
If Crimson Tide Plays More Than SEC Games, Cougars Likely Opponent

It now appears Alabama is likely to play BYU if the SEC allows non-conference games, according to a report from AL.com.
Alabama and BYU were both scheduled to play Pac-12 teams in their season openers. But USC dropped Alabama and Utah dropped BYU, leaving both teams with an opening -- if their is a fall season.
It is possible the teams could play in January if the season gets switched -- and conditions are favorable.
It's obvious Alabama is aggresively looking for an opponent to replace USC. There have been reports it might play TCU and yesterday there was talk it might play Notre Dame.
Alabama athletic director Greg Byrne said Saturday the Crimson Tide would not play Notre Dame, so it looks like BYU is Option No. 1.
