If Mike Bohn becomes the USC athletic director, expect an offer to Urban Meyer to eventually follow. 

The freedom to pursue Meyer to possibly replace Clay Helton initially caused a delay in Bohn accepting a deal with USC. The latest sticking point is what Bohn will be able to offer Meyer, according to sources with intimate knowledge of the situation. 

As Bohn works to finalize his contract with the university, terms for a prospective offer to Meyer are also being discussed. Prominent USC boosters have expressed a willingness to the school for Meyer to be offered somewhere in the range of $9 million per year for 4-6 years. 

The Cincinnati AD is working to leverage that support to ensure he can put together a package that would bring Meyer back into coaching. 

Bohn is still expected to sign with USC and could be announced as soon as Thursday, per sources. That doesn't guarantee anything with Meyer, but it puts his potential hire in motion.
