USC Football: Insider Losing Patience With Lincoln Riley In Season 2

In this story:
After a second straight season with pretty much the same problems, it seems that the clock has started to tick on Lincoln Riley at USC. Riley was brought in to return the Trojans to glory, but so far, it has been anything but that.
USC has struggled on defense once again this season, and it seems that they don't have answers on how to fix things. Riley is starting to lose the fan base, and if he isn't careful, it'll get ugly in Southern California.
Scott Wolf of InsideUSC seems to already be done with Riley, and his voicing this so effectively is exactly how a bad vibe can spread among other Trojans diehards.
"Has a USC coach ever experienced as quickly a fall from grace as Lincoln Riley? The fans are up in arms. They are tired of his answers. Tired of his stubbornness. Tired of his defense. And now tired of his offense."
Per Scott Wolf of InsideUSC
It's only been two years since Riley took over the Trojans program, but there isn't time to waste. USC is a football program that demands excellence, and when it isn't given, things can get difficult.
It also seems that the same issues that the Trojans are dealing with have followed Riley from his time at Oklahoma. The biggest difference is that the Sooners could afford to have a bad defense because they played in the Big 12 where defense was almost nonexistent.
In the Pac-12, and certainly in the Big 10 next season, that won't be the case. The Trojans will be eaten alive by more physical teams if they can't fix things, and we saw a glimpse of that against Notre Dame last week.
"The question going forward is whether Riley has any answers? He doesn’t seem to have a Plan B so it could be tough. He also doesn’t like playing good teams. USC is 2-3 under Riley against ranked teams."
Per Scott Wolf of InsideUSC
If things don't change for the Trojans, Riley could be shown the door. Unless he leaves first, which could easily happen considering how he left Oklahoma to join USC in the first place.
