USC Football: Opening Spread Revealed For Trojans-Bruins Matchup

The Trojans are nearly a touchdown favorite in their last game of the regular season.

Despite starting out the season with six straight wins, your USC Trojans' hopes at a potential College Football Playoff appearance seemed lofty with a defense that struggled to keep opponents out of the end zone.

Having lost four of their previous five games, the Trojans now have nothing but pride and a mid-tier bowl game to play for when UCLA comes to the Coliseum Saturday afternoon.

UCLA has also sputtered as of late, losing each of their previous two games to Arizona and Arizona State. The Bruins will have one more game after this weekend against Cal.

USC quarterback Caleb Williams, a top NFL draft prospect next summer, will likely be playing his last home game as a Trojan, and depending on his decision regarding the bowl game, could be playing his last game as a Trojan, period.

Williams, who won the Heisman Trophy in 2022, will be remembered as one of the greatest college quarterbacks whose potential was never met because of a shoddy defense that never allowed the Trojans to get comfortable leads against ranked opponents.

The meeting between USC and UCLA will be the 91st edition in one of the most storied rivalries in college football. USC enters the game as a six-and-a-half-point favorite with the over/under set at 65.5 points, according to DraftKings.

Because USC has a bye week during the last game of the season, this will be their last game of the regular season. The game will kick off at 12:30 p.m. PST at the Coliseum.
