With Oregon pounding Colorado last weekend, the hype for this weekend's game between the Buffaloes and the visiting USC Trojans has slightly lessened.

Colorado lost its national ranking, and star Travis Hunter is still projected to be out due to a lacerated liver.

On the flip side, the nationally televised game (9:00 a.m. PT) will showcase two of the nation's best quarterbacks: USC's Caleb Williams and Colorado's Shedeur Sanders. In the process, it'll also feature a host of A-Listers on the sidelines:

The hype Deion Sanders has brought to Colorado's program -- and the sport of college football as a whole -- is nothing short of phenomenal. Ex-players and celebrities have been flocking to Bolder over the last few months, taking in the sensation that's become Colorado football.

According to the report above, a plethora of big names will be in attendance for the contest. Among them include NBA superstar LeBron James, his son/current USC basketball player Bronny James, renowned music mogul DJ Khaled, Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey, universal funny man/USC grad Will Ferrell, and hip-hop legends Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, and Jay-Z.

USC is a marquee brand, and surely Lincoln Riley's team is a reason for the casual interest. Some of that also has to do with Williams -- the reigning Heisman Trophy winner and likely No. 1 pick in next year's NFL Draft.

With that said, we can't underestimate how Sanders has revolutionized the Buffaloes and its fan base in short order. While there's work to be done regarding recruiting, the foundation has been impressively built.

A win against USC at home would go a long way toward further legitimizing the program under Sanders. If you're a recruit watching Colorado rebuild, knocking off one of the West Coast's best teams without Travis Hunter would be an impressive feat.
