USC Football: Star Trojans WR Enters Transfer Portal

The Trojans have now lost a star WR to the transfer portal.

The USC Trojans will hit the Big Ten Conference next season, and it looks as though the team will look much different. Though he has not yet decided on entering the NFL Draft, QB Caleb Williams has been pegged as one of the most enticing prospects.

This is the time when a lot of college players also enter the transfer portal in hopes of reinvigorating their collegiate career with other schools. USC has not yet been hit hard with many star players moving on to different schools until now.

It has been announced that WR Mario Williams is entering the transfer portal.

During the 2023 Williams logged 305 yards and 2 TD. In his entire career, he has brought down 11 TDs.

Williams initially transferred from Oklahoma, but he will not be on the move again. This could be due to Caleb Wiliams' eventual exit to the NFL, or simply for Lincoln Riley keeping his job. It could be for a lot of reasons, but Williams entering the transfer portal is not great.

Losing Williams will be a huge loss for the Trojans heading into the 2024 season.
