USC Football: Top Safety Leaves Notre Dame Game With Serious Injury

Not what you want to hear

USC starting safety Max Williams leaves the Notre Dame game early in the first quarter after suffering an apparent lower-body injury.

Williams suffered the injury after a crack block play run by Notre Dame and was immediately in pain as he clawed to the sideline.

Unfortunately, he will be out for the rest of the game, as he was seen in street clothes.

This is a massive loss for the USC secondary, and now Bryson Shaw will take his place.

Although Williams was seen leaving to the locker room in tears, hopefully, this is nothing too significant. We'll provide you with more once it comes out.
