USC Football: Trojans LB Will Reportedly Enter the Transfer Portal

The Trojans will lose another defensive player to the transfer portal.

The USC Trojans have been making some huge moves on the defensive side of the ball. The team landed former UCLA defensive coordinator D'Anton Lynn and added both Mike Entz and Doug Belk shortly after.

Though the coaching side of things was going well, it appears the team will lose another defense player to the transfer portal.

Though it has not been formally announced, linebacker Tackett Curtis is gearing up to enter the transfer portal.

Curtis finished the 2023 season as a freshman with 23 solo tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 forced fumble.

Curtis initially started eight games this season for the Trojans but lost his starting job after the team's loss to Utah. The young linebacker had a strong relationship with Alex Grinch (fired before the 2023 season ended) and linebackers coach Brian Odom (who is not expected back next season).

Curtis now joins 15 players from USC who have entered the transfer portal. This includes WR Raleek Brown, S Xamarion Gordon, WR Michael Jackson III, and more.

We wish Curtis luck on his next venture.
