USC Football: Trojans Star LB May Have Just Confirmed Return

The Trojans may be getting back a crucial linebacker.

The USC Trojans have been getting plenty of good news on the defensive side of the ball, which includes coaching acquisitions like D'Anton Lynn and Eric Henderson. The team also received many exciting transfer portal players like DBs John Humphrey and Kamari Ramsey.

While the team prepares to enter the Big Ten conference, they have also lost players like QB Williams, S CAlen Bullock, WR Brenden Rice, and RB MarShawn Lloyd.

Thankfully, not every skillful player is entering the draft or has entered the transfer portal. While it was unknown if star LB Mason Cobb would also leave the school, he may have just hinted at his return to the Trojans team.

Cobb released a hype video full of highlights of his time at USC, including hashtags that read #1more13 and #lastride.

Cobb ended his 2023 season with 50 solo tackles and a total of 85. While he may not have added to his sack total, Cobb was all over the field.

Cobb is not only a veteran on the team but he can act as a leader to guide the young recruits that will be on the team in 2024. A confirmation has not yet been made by USC, but Cobb's social media post appears to indicate that he will be back for one final year.
