USC Highlights: Trojans Get Pummeled by Bruins at Home

Your USC Trojans just got annihilated by the visiting UCLA Bruins, 38-20, at home. This marks the second time in three years that they've dropped a game at the LA Memorial Coliseum to their crosstown rivals.
USC never had a grasp on this game – they fell down 14-0 in the first quarter, which was followed up by a Caleb Williams interception. They eventually cut the lead to 14-10, but ceded a touchdown on UCLA's opening drive to start the second half.
From there, it was a nightmare. USC fumbled immediately, which led to a Bruins touchdown, making it 28-10.
After some limited downfield movement from both teams on their ensuing few drives (couple of field goals), the Bruins got down the field and scored again, making it 38-13.
In likely his final collegiate game, Caleb Williams completed 28 of 37 passes for 355 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.
The Trojans' offensive line was a disaster, as they seemingly ceded a pressure on nearly all of Caleb's dropbacks, forcing him to get the ball out early and throw it into tight windows.
Today's game was a nightmare, but let's take a look at USC's two noteworthy plays of the game:

Unfortunately, there really aren't any more highlights to show, as the Trojans found their offense under duress all game given the caliber of the Bruins' defense, and their pass rush in particular.
If that really was Caleb Williams' last college game, it's probably not the best way to remember his USC run. The Trojans fall to a 7-5 on the year, with plenty of questions circling around the fates of Williams and head coach Lincoln Riley.
There's a lot to break down about this game and where USC Football goes from here, so don't forget to join our community at LA Sports Report, where we celebrate all things Trojans!
