Wormley made his announcement via Instagram. He said, "I'm Focused More Than Ever Been Grinding Like We Ain't Winnin' #Committed.'
Wormley hails from Southlake, Texas, and attends Southlake Carroll. The junior running back is ranked as the 39th running back in his class and the 70th-ranked player in his home state.
Other schools, such as Oklahoma State, TCU, Arkansas, and Baylor, hoped to land Wormley.
He stands at 5-foot-9, 170 pounds, and finished his junior season with 901 rushing yards, 19 touchdowns, and 10.6 yards per carry. He also caught nine passes for 123 yards, leading his school to a 13-2 record. The Trojans made Wormley an offer earlier this month, and today, they received a hard commitment.
The Trojans continue to pry out top recruits from their home state.
