It was announced on Wednesday morning that Washington State defensive back Bryce Beekman passed away Tuesday night

According to Pullman Police, Washington State Cougars defensive Bryce Beekman passed away Tuesday night at his apartment. It is unclear how he passed away.

Beekman, who started all 13 games for the Cougars last season, was expected to be an integral part of the upcoming season.

This marks the second tragedy in the football program in as many years after quarterback Tyler Hilinski committed suicide in his apartment last year.
