Virginia's recent struggles in ACC play continued this weekend as the Cavaliers dropped two out of three games to Duke to suffer their third-consecutive ACC series loss.

Although UVA did win a pair of mid-week games against Liberty and Towson to bring the team's week-long record to 3-2, that didn't stop the Hoos from falling multiple spots in each of the major college baseball polls on Monday:

D1Baseball.com: Virginia drops eight spots to No. 21

Collegiate Baseball Newspaper: Virginia drops five spots to No. 14

Perfect Game: Virginia drops three spots to No. 22

Baseball America: Virginia drops three spots to No. 14

USA TODAY Coaches Poll: Virginia drops two spots to No. 12

Virginia (35-11, 13-11 ACC) will look to remain unbeaten in non-conference play with a pair of home games against Liberty on Tuesday at 6pm and against Towson on Wednesday at 6pm before taking a much-needed weekend off for final exams.
