The last of Virginia's drafted players signed with his MLB franchise on Friday as UVA catcher Kyle Teel agreed to terms with the Boston Red Sox, receiving a reported signing bonus of $4,000,000. That's beneath his slot value of $4,663,100 as the No. 14 overall pick in the first round of the 2023 MLB Draft, but it's not uncommon for high first round picks to sign for less than their slot value, and $4 million is still a pretty good haul for the 2023 ACC Player of the Year.

Here's a look at Kyle Teel in his brand new Boston Red Sox threads:

Selected No. 14 overall in the first round, Teel became the highest draft pick for the UVA baseball program since 2017, when Pavin Smith and Adam Haseley went No. 7 and No. 8 overall in the first round. Teel is also the first Cavalier to be picked in the first round since Daniel Lynch and Jake McCarthy in 2018.

Kyle Teel's 2023 season was one for the record books. He became the first Cavalier in program history to be named a consensus First-Team All-American by six different college baseball publications. Teel also became the first Cavalier since 2006 and just the third in program history to be named the ACC Player of the Year. He had by far his best season at the plate, batting .407 and recording 65 RBI, 13 home runs, 25 doubles, and 105 hits, fourth-most in the nation and second-most in program history.

With Teel inking his contract, all four of the Cavaliers who heard their names called at the 2023 MLB Draft have agreed to terms with their respective franchises:

Kyle Teel - signed with Boston Red Sox for $4,000,000
Jake Gelof - signed with Los Angeles Dodgers for $1,334,400
Connelly Early - signed with Boston Red Sox for $408,500
Ethan O'Donnell - signed with Cincinnati Reds for $307,500
