The first transfer portal target to visit Virginia this offseason will be Merrimack transfer Jordan Minor. UVA will host Minor on a visit on April 6th and 7th, according to The Portal Report, which also notes that Minor has scheduled visits to Florida Gulf Coast, Iowa, and Seton Hall.

A 6'8", 240-pound senior forward from Kingston, Massachusetts, Minor has played in 107 career games over the last four seasons, including 76 starts, and has one season of eligibility remaining. Minor averaged career-highs in points (17.4), rebounds (9.4), assists (2.3), and blocks (2.6), recorded 15 double-doubles, and shot 51.5% from the field this season, garnering his third career All-Northeast Conference selection and the 2022-2023 Northeast Conference Co-Player of the Year.

Minor helped Merrimack win the NEC Men's Basketball Tournament Championship this season, but the Warriors were ineligible for the NCAA Tournament, while they complete their transition from Division II to Division I. Their title game opponent, Fairleigh Dickinson, got the bid from the NEC and went on to upset No. 1 Purdue in the first round.

Per The Portal Report, Minor will visit Virginia this Thursday and Friday (April 6th and 7th) before heading down to visit Florida Gulf Coast this weekend. Minor will visit Iowa on April 14th and 15th and Seton Hall on April 17th and 18th and could be scheduling other visits as well.

Given Virginia's substantial roster depletion with eight scholarship players exiting the program at the end of the season, the Cavaliers are expected to be extremely active in pursuing multiple players in the transfer portal.
