The pregame Senior Day ceremony before Virginia's regular season finale against Louisville on Saturday will be a busy one. Per UVA's Jeff White, five players are expected to be honored in the Senior Day ceremony before the game: Francisco Caffaro, Jayden Gardner, Armaan Franklin, Ben Vander Plas, and Chase Coleman. Student managers Jackson Selby and Anna Williamson will be recognized as well.

Notably, Kihei Clark will not participate in the ceremony before his final game at John Paul Jones Arena as he was honored on Senior Day last year.

Armaan Franklin is a senior and will participate in the ceremony, but he has one year of eligibility remaining and reportedly hasn't made a decision yet on whether he will return for another season of college basketball.

Similarly, Francisco Caffaro, a redshirt senior, technically has one year of eligibility remaining. Caffaro and Kihei Clark are the only Cavaliers left on the team who were on the roster when Virginia won the 2019 National Championship. Senior walk-on Chase Coleman also has one year of eligibility remaining.

Fifth year Jayden Gardner and graduate student Ben Vander Plas are concluding their fifth and final seasons of eligibility.

One other item to note is that Kadin Shedrick will not be participating in the Senior Day ceremony. Shedrick is a redshirt junior in terms of athletic eligibility, but is a fourth year student academically and he has two years of eligibility remaining.

Virginia will celebrate its seniors before the regular season finale against Louisville on Saturday at 2pm at John Paul Jones Arena.
