End of Quarter Four - Virginia 55, William & Mary 16
The Cavaliers cruised to an impressive victory over their fellow Virginians. It was a true collective effort, as both Chandler Morris and Daniel Kaelin threw for 145-plus yards, Noah Vaughn and Harrison Waylee (along with three touchdowns) both rushed for 100-plus yards, and eight different players had double-digit receiving yards. It was a record breaking day in Charlottesville, as Virginia broke their all-time record for yards in a game with 700 yards from scrimmage, and Harrison Waylee broke off the longest rush in program history.
2:00 Q4
First years, quarterback Cole Geer and running back Xay Davis, led Virginia to William & Mary's 16-yard line before the two-minute warning. In doing so, the Cavaliers broke the all-time program record for total yards in a game. The previous record, 691 yards, was set against Davidson in 1968.

Noah Brannock shined on the drive for William & Mary's second touchdown of the day. He completed a pass to Alfred Honest, a 39-yard deep ball that Brannock landed right in the bread basket. Brannock kept making plays, breaking off an eight yard scramble that ended with him hurdling one of Virginia's defenders. He finished off the drive with a Manziel-esque mix of scampering and scrambling for a six-yard touchdown.
3:34 Q3
Virginia's drive ended abruptly after Daniel Kaelin had his pass intercepted by William & Mary's Trevon Cannon, who returned it for 15 yards to William & Mary's 47-yard line.
5:13 Q3
Virginia forced another three-and-out. The bleeding continued for William & Mary: nine third downs on the day, zero first down conversions.
6:46 Q3
Daniel Kaelin impressed on a pass-heavy drive. The second year out of Elkhorn, Nebraska strung together three straight completions of 14 yards, 30 yards, and 23 yards respectively. On third and goal, Kaelin's pocket collapsed as he was looking for TyLyric Coleman across the middle. The pass fell incomplete. Will Bettridge kicked his first field goal of the day, which was good from 24 yards.
With 10 points on the day, Will Bettridge (1-1 FG, 7-7 PAT) is now tied for seventh all-time on UVA's scoring list.
