Welcome to the big leagues, Zack Gelof. 

Former Virginia baseball star Zack Gelof hit his first-career home run on Saturday night, an opposite-field solo home run to help the Oakland Athletics beat the Houston Astros 4-1. 

After rounding the bases for his first-career big league homer, Gelof's teammates gave him the silent treatment in the dugout before eventually congratulating the rookie on his accomplishment. 

Through the first nine games pf his MLB career with the A's, Zack Gelof is batting .273 with nine hits, four doubles, one triple, three RBI, and now a home run.
