The Apple Cup — could it possibly be the last one? — will kick off at 1 p.m. on Nov. 25 at Husky Stadium as Washington and Washington State meet for the final time as Pac-12 opponents.

FOX will broadcast the 115th meeting between these cross-state rivals, a college football series that favors the Huskies 75-33-6. The game is a sellout.

The afternoon kickoff is yet another benefit for the UW (10-0 overall, 7-0 Pac-12) enjoying a fifth-ranked and unbeaten season, with the most successful teams typically receiving the most favorable game times from the networks.

After recent seasons heavy on night games, the Huskies were left with night games this time around only against California, Arizona and Arizona State in their 12 regular-season outings.

As for the future of the Apple Cup, no indication has emerged whether the game will survive or not.

The Huskies still have a non-conference opening on next year's schedule that marks their first in the Big Ten. However, the rivalry game with WSU might have to be played in September.

The Cougars, of course, still don't know who and where they'll be playing next season with 10 of the Pac-12 teams affiliated with new conferences moving on.
