By all accounts, this a very young Husky football team. There are 55 freshman or redshirt freshman currently on the Dawgs roster. In last Saturday’s home opener vs Eastern  Washington, 10 true freshmen saw action in the very first game of their college careers.

A lot of that youth shows up on the defensive side of the ball. Cameron Williams, a true freshman out of Bakersfield, California not only saw meaningful minutes in the game, but STARTED at safety for the Huskies in his first collegiate game ever!

With so many new names and faces having to fill the vacancies left by All Pac 12 players like Taylor Rapp and Byron Murphy, your average defensive coordinator might be showing signs of worry or doubt.
