In this story:

Julius "Juice" Brown, the final member of Kalen DeBoer's University of Washington football staff to find work since the coaching change, will join TCU as an analyst, according to 247 Sports.

Brown returns to the Big 12 Conference, where he coached the cornerbacks at Texas Tech in 2019 as a full-time assistant before joining DeBoer in Fresno State for two seasons and came with him to the UW for two more as his corners coach.

Unlike the rest of DeBoer's UW staff, Brown's coaching reputation seemed to flatten out some while he was in Montlake. As an analyst, he'll be basically waiting for something more comprehensive to open up somewhere.

With Brown finding a new coaching home, DeBoer's former Husky staff has scattered in the following directions:

The coach has three of his UW assistants with him at Alabama in tight-ends coach Nick Sheridan, who will retain that position group and become offensive coordinator; receivers coach JaMarcus Shephard, who adds co-offensive coordinator to his title; and co-defensive coordinator Chuck Morrell, who will serve as a special assistant to DeBoer. Former Husky strength and conditioning coach Ron McKeefery likewise has joined the Crimson Tide as a special assistant.

Ex-Husky offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb and offensive-line coach Scott Huff, temporarily at Alabama, have moved to the NFL and the Seattle Seahawks in the same roles.

Before DeBoer left for Alabama, edge-rusher coach Eric Schmidt was hired as the defensive coordinator for San Diego State, and, after DeBoer changed jobs, defensive-line coach Inoke Breckterfield joined the Aztecs in the same role.

Co-defensive coordinator William Inge, also briefly with DeBoer at Alabama, is now the linebackers coach for Tennessee.

Former UW running-backs coach Lee Marks recently surfaced in the same job at Memphis.
