Former Arizona cornerback Ephesians Prysock announced on Saturday he is joining Jedd Fisch at Washington, the second defensive back to come to the Huskies with a connection to the coach's old school.

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound junior defensive back had been a possibility to transfer to UW after visiting the school last week once he entered the transfer portal on Jan. 17.

"Tucson, I will always and forever love you," Prysock wrote on social media. "From the bottom of my heart, you guys made Tucson a place that I will always have love."

Prysock becomes the second Arizona-related cornerback to commit to the UW, though the other, Jordan Shaw, never played for the Wildcats. Shaw played his freshman season at Indiana and was bound for Tucson until Fisch changed jobs.

Fisch has now drawn commitments from five players with a prior connection to the Arizona program, among them running back Jonah Coleman, last season's leading rusher; quarterback Demond Williams Jr., a 2024 prospect who flipped his Wildcats pledge to the UW;  quarterback Dash Beierly, who flipped his 2025 commitment to the Huskies; and corners Shaw and Prysock.

Prysock made 16 starts in 23 appearances for the Wildcats over the past two seasons and  finished with 77 tackles, 7 pass break-ups and an interception. He was an All-Pac-12 honorable-mention selection.

His Arizona position coach, John Richardson, will coach the UW secondary paving the way for a smooth transition for this player.

Prysock, a former 4-star recruit out of Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills, California, started at corner opposite Tacario Davis, who announced his Arizona transfer on Jan. 23 with a no-contact designation.
