One thing that's guaranteed to happen when a coaching change takes place is the most recent recruiting class likely won't hold up.

On Monday, University of Washington freshman linebacker Khmori House told 247sports he is entering the transfer portal, though he apparently left open the possibility of still playing for the Huskies.

House from St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California, becomes the sixth member of the UW's 15-player 2024 class to go the portal route.

He joins quarterback Dermaricus Davis, edge rusher Noah Carter, defensive tackle Keona Wilhite, and safeties Joshua Lair and Peyton Waters as signed Husky recruits who are reopening their recruiting.

House makes himself available even though his one-time St. John Bosco teammate and fellow linebacker Deven Bryant, who will be a redshirt freshman with starting potential, was publicly stumping for the program on Monday. House enrolled early and accompanied the Huskies to the national championship game in Houston, wearing No. 44 on the sideline.

House and Bryant played together in 2022 when Bosco went 13-1 and won the CIF-Southern Section Division 1 championship. House had 72 tackles for an 11-2 team this past season.
