Inge Receives LB Conference Coach of the Year Honors

In this story:
William Inge was a fearsome linebacker himself once for Iowa, even turning up in the University of Washington backfield to sack Damon Huard in the 1995 Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas.
Today, he teaches the Huskies how to play the position and people have noticed that he's done a exemplary job at getting them ready for battle.
As the UW left Seattle for the Sugar Bowl and the CFP semifinals against Texas, Inge was named Pac-12 Linebacker Coach of the Year by Our Coaching Network.
It's just reward after having senior Edefuan Ulofoshio named as a first-team All-Pac-12 selection and junior Carson Bruener earn honorable mention recognition.

Inge has had the challenge of finding adequate playing time for Ulofoshio, Bruener, Alphonso Tuputala and Ralen Goforth, all veteran players and starters at some point in their careers.
This season, Ulofoshio came up with a 45-yard interception return for a touchdown against California, while Tuputala went 76 yards with a pass theft before letting the ball go before the goal line. Bruener came up with consecutive games of 14 tackles late in the season.
