Imagine if they all played together in purple and gold.

In this story:

Pro Football Focus has just singled out the college game's top 50 players entering the upcoming season and they include multiple University of Washington Huskies, a former Husky and a couple of Seattle-Tacoma transplants.

In the spirit of realignment, which has an absolute stranglehold on the NCAA right, we pose this following daydream:

What if all six of these listed elite players wore the purple and gold?

Well, the Huskies would be creating their own conference, with everyone banging on the door, trying to get in, wanting to pay big bucks to broadcast it.

The highest-rated, Northwest-related player to appear on this list is the UW's Bralen Trice at No. 15. He's one of three edge rushers singled out, but he far exceeds the regard shown for Seattle product JT Tuimoloau, from Ohio State and ranked 40th, and former Husky Laiatu Latu, who plays for UCLA and comes in at No. 42.

Wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, also of Ohio State and from Steilacoom, Washington, was slotted as the nation's 17th best player, just ahead of UW quarterback Michael Penix Jr. at No. 18.

The final member of this six is Husky wide receiver Rome Odunze at No. 32.

With these six players somehow wearing the same uniform, imagine the untold damage that could be done with so many disruptive players coming off the edge, plus the electric passing combination spreading the field with the addition of Egbuka, though the Huskies are fairly dangerous already with the current Odunze and Company firmly in place.
