Ulofoshio Relished Boise State Sack For Two Reasons

In this story:
In the season opener, University of Washington linebacker Edefuan Ulofoshio sacked Boise State quarterback Taylen Allen on the first series of the second half — his first in nearly three years once he made his long-awaited return to the starting lineup following multiple injuries.
That gave him five sacks in his Husky career, with the latest one fueled by extra motivation supplied by his teammates and the Mountain West team.
"There are two reasons why I liked it," Ulofoshio said, first referencing the high-profile Husky edge rushers. "One, because now I have more sacks than Bralen [Trice] and ZTF [Zion Tupuola-Fetui]. The second was just because it was Boise State and I had a little thing against them — they didn't recruit me coming out of high school. So it's always nice to get a little bit revenge there. It was pretty sweet."
Ulofoshio and senior safety Asa Turner were the only Husky defenders who recorded a tackle for loss against Boise State in the opener.
Facing another run-oriented offense on Saturday against Tulsa, which has an inexperienced quarterback, the message remains the same for UW's defense.
"Just finish," Ulofoshio said. "The DBs are covering their [rear ends] off. We just have to be able to get home and keep our guy in the pocket. It's really just getting the job done. We got a lot of pressure [against Boise], but we have to get the guy down."
