In this story:

Spanaway Lake High School has become quite a hotbed of talent in recent years, especially at defensive back. In 2023, it had four-star Oklahoma commit Jasiah Wagoner. In 2025, it has D'Aryhian Clemons, who recently received an offer from Washington.

In 2026, it has Clemons' running mate in the secondary, Jasiah Denmark. Denmark received his offer directly from Kalen DeBoer following the Top Dawg camp that the Husky coaching staff hosted on Friday.

The Huskies are the third team to offer Denmark a scholarship, following in the footsteps of Nevada and Penn State. With the attention he's already received from the Big Ten, the 6-foot, 160-pound cornerback looks like a future big-time prospect.

Denmark is a product of Heir Football Academy in Puyallup, Washington, which is run by former New Orleans Saints cornerback Reggie Jones. Jones' program has produced some high-caliber defensive backs and it looks like Denmark could be one of them.

Even as a rising sophomore, the ball skills that Denmark shows are next level. He sees the ball in the air early and never loses sight of it, while also not getting too physical with the receiver across from him and causing a flag to be thrown.

As he matures physically and adds weight to his long frame, Denmark is going to be difficult to beat in press coverage. He already does a great job of staying in front of his receiver no matter how the guy tries to get off the line of scrimmage.

I've followed the Huskies for my entire life, and to be in a position where I get to cover them full-time is nothing short of an honor. After graduating from Lasell University in 2019, I moved to Seattle to pursue my dream of working in sports media. While writing for the Husky Haul, I also covered local sports for the Everett Daily Herald before the COVID-19 pandemic. After being hired by Realdawg.com in February of 2021, I also transitioned into doing a lot of entertainment writing, as I work on a variety of magazines as a contributing writer for Centennial Media, and have also contributed to Emmy Magazine, as well as Walt Disney Television Studios.
