Tuscon, AZ - After West Virginia won the first two games of the three-game weekend series, Arizona slugger Mac Bingham crushed two home runs and tallied seven RBIs to lead the Wildcats past the Mountaineers in the series finale 15-5. 

West Virginia second baseman J.J. Wetherholt blasted his second home run of the season with an opposite field solo shot in the top of the first inning. 

Mac Bingham hit the first of his two home runs on the day in the bottom half of the frame to give Arizona the 3-1 lead, which began a streak of six consecutive innings of producing at least one run. 

The Wildcats tacked on two runs in the second after Mason White and Bingham delivered RBI doubles and Tyler Casagrandre added a run in the third with a sacrifice fly to left field as the Wildcats extended the lead, 6-1. 

Sam White hit a leadoff double in the fourth before Ellis Garcia brought him home, punching a single through the right side to get the Mountaineers back within four, 6-2. 

Arizona responded in the bottom half of the inning with a pair of runs on RBI doubles from Kiko Romero put up a run.

In the top of the fifth, Grant Hussey hit his first home run of the season with leadoff home run. Then, with two outs, Wetherhold was awarded first after he was beaned on the second pitch. He stole second and third while Dayne Leonard worked a walk and Sam White singled back up the middle to cut the deficit to three but left two on with the tying run a the plate following a pop fly to left field from Garcia.

The Wildcats broke the game open in the bottom of the fifth with six runs, highlighted by a three-run home run by Bingam as Arizona claimed an emphatic 13-4 lead. 

Arizona added two runs in the sixth following a Bingham sacrifice fly as the Wildcats cruised to a 15-4 decision. 

West Virginia will play in an exhibition on Monday versus the Arizona Diamondback before traveling to Virginia for the Central Virginia Classic beginning Friday, March 3 and running through Sunday the fifth.
