Former West Virginia guard Erik Stevenson threw out the first pitch of the series opener vs. Oklahoma

The 11th-ranked West Virginia University baseball program is hosting the Oklahoma Sooners for a three-game weekend series, and in the series opener Friday night, former West Virginia guard Erik Stevenson threw out the honorary first pitch.

Stevenson averaged a team-high 15.4 points per game for the Mountaineers last season and helped guide the program back to the NCAA tournament after missing it following the 2021-22 campaign.
