West Virginia Falls in Game Two vs. Stetson

DeLand, FL - The Stetson Hatters (1-1) knocked off the West Virginia Mountaineers (1-1) in extra innings Saturday afternoon 7-5 to even the series at one.
Tyler Switalski got the start for the Mountaineers. He went into the sixth inning allowing one run on two hits. The Gardner-Webb transfer walked Isaiah Barkett to lead off the sixth and gave up a single to Landon Moran, placing runners at the corners before head coach Randy Mazey called David Hagaman out of the bullpen.
Hagaman beaned the first batter he faced before walking in a Stetson run to begin a four-run sixth inning for the Hatters. Gio Cueto registered an RBI single, and Kyle Jones capped off the inning with a two-RBI single for the 5-2 lead.
West Virginia tied the game in the eighth when, with two outs and one on, Grant Hussey reached on a dropped fly ball by left fielder Evan Griffis, scoring Sam White, and Brodie Kresser delivered a two-run home run to tie the game at five.
In the bottom of the eleventh inning, Lorenzo Meola knocked a two-run walk-off home run to give the Statters a 7-5 victory.
