West Virginia Falls in the National Rankings

The West Virginia Mountaineers finished the regular season with a 35-19 overall record, including 15-9 in Big 12 Conference play.
The Mountaineers vaulted up the national rankings and into the top last week after taking a tough series from Texas Tech but a rough 0-3 road trip to Austin against the Texas Longhorns in the final series of the season, dropped the Mountaineers out of the top 10 with Baseball America giving West Virginia the highest ranking at 14 while sitting at 21 in the RPI.
