Jesse Edwards Remains Committed to WVU

West Virginia University forward Jesse Edwards announced on social media he's "Goin. nowhere," Sunday afternoon.

Edwards was patient throughout the coaching search and never entered the NCAA Transfer Portal after former head coach Bob Huggins resigned from his position following a DUI arrest in Pittsburgh weeks ago.
The Amsterdam native transferred from Syracuse in the offseason and has one-year of eligibility remaining.
He averaged 14.5 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game last season as a senior, including scoring a career-high 27 points in the season finale versus Wake Fores. The six-foot-ten center nabbed a career-best 21 rebounds against Bryant in November and twice swatted a season-high six blocks (Pitt, Richmond), a notch below his career-high set as a junior.
