Score Predictions for West Virginia vs. No. 15 Oklahoma

The West Virginia Mountaineers (6-10) are on the road for a Wednesday night matchup versus the Oklahoma Sooners (13-3). Tip-off is set for 8:00 p.m. EST and will stream on ESPN+.
Schuyler Callihan: Oklahoma 73, West Virginia 67.
Prior to the news about Suemnick, I was actually leaning toward picking the upset. West Virginia is going to win a game or two on the road and this, to me, felt like a good spot to pick them.
With the uncertainty of Suemnick's status, I just can't pick the Mountaineers. They were already incredibly thin in the frontcourt and now, they may have to play with Slazinski or Akok at the five.
The good news for Josh Eilert is Oklahoma is a guard heavy team. Five of their top eight in the rotation are guards and one of the forwards, Jalon Moore, is more of a wing than a froncourt guy. They will, however, have to deal with Sam Godwin and Pitt transfer John Hugley IV.
West Virginia limits the turnovers and keeps it close, but falls short.
Christopher Hall: Oklahoma 77, West Virginia 71.
The Mountaineers are coming off their best performance of the season with a win over No. 25 Texas, while the Sooners have suffered consecutive road losses.
Forward Pat Suemnick has found his confidence and has led the team in scoring in two of the last three games, while center Jesse Edwards has been sidelined with a wrist injury. However, Suemnick is questionable heading into the game with an illness.
Sooner guards Javian McCollum and Otega Oweh combine for 29.2 point per game and have two six-foot-ten big men, John Hugley IV and Sam Godwin, along with forward Jalon Moore handle the frontcourt.
Oklahoma has yet to lose a home game this season, and they'll be eager to square off against the Mountaineers after a 93-61 thumping in Morgantown last season. West Virginia may have played its best Saturday but putting back-to-back games together in this league is tough with a new group and I don't believe the Mountaineers are ready. Sooners win 77-71.
