Stevenson Selected All-Big 12

West Virginia guard Erik Stevenson voted to the All-Big 12 Third Team

On Sunday, The Big 12 Conference released the All-Big 12 Men's Basketball Awards with West Virginia senior guard Erik Stevenson selected to the All-Big 12 Third Team as voted on by the league's coaches.

Stevenson averaged 15.5 points per game on the season, shooting 44.0% from the field and 39.2% from three-point range. 

He ranked seventh in the league in scoring during conference play with 15.4 ppg, highlighted by a career-high 34 points in the Mountaineers dominating win over Oklahoma, which overshadowed his previous career-best of 31 the week prior in the Big 12/SEC Challenge versus Auburn. 

In the last five games of the regular season, the Lacy, Washington, native averaged 24.6 points per game. 

Stevenson and the Mountaineers will meet the Texas Tech Red Raiders in the first round Big 12 Conference tournament Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. EST.
