Tucker DeVries Officially Signs with West Virginia

Darian DeVries didn't have to go far to sign his first recruit and it didn't take much convincing. Monday afternoon, DeVries announced that his son, Tucker, has signed with West Virginia.
“Obviously, we’re excited to have Tucker join our program,” coach DeVries said in a press release. “He has a tremendous skill set and his experience will be invaluable to us. We are grateful that he has chosen to play for us for his senior season.”
The former Drake guard was named the Missouri Valley Conference's Player of the Year in each of the past two seasons and played a pivotal role in getting the Bulldogs to the NCAA Tournament. This past season, DeVries ranked ninth nationally in points per game (21.6) while shooting 44% from the field and 36% from three-point land. He led Drake in scoring in all three of his years in the program, ranking third all-time in scoring.
DeVries will have one year of eligibility remaining.
