Gerad Parker Becomes Offensive Coordinator at Notre Dame

Following Neal Brown's first year on the job at WVU, he brought in some help on the offensive side of the ball, hiring Gerad Parker as offensive coordinator and receivers coach.
Parker had minimal responsibility as a play-caller, but did call some red zone and other situational stuff during his time at WVU. For the most part, Brown handled the play-calling, leaving Parker's main responsibility to gameplanning and working with the receivers.
Well, now, Parker will get his chance to run the show on offense as Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman announced that Parker is being promoted to offensive coordinator, replacing Tommy Rees who left for Alabama.
Parker left WVU following the 2021 season to become the tight ends coach at Notre Dame.
