What he wants accomplished this spring

"The big thing is always trying to create more comradery, more chemistry, and moving some guys around. [Doug] Nester's playing a lot at center, he's playing a lot of right tackle. I've got [Brandon] Yates playing center. I've got Yates playing right guard. [JaQuay] Hubbard playing some right guard and playing some right tackle. The left side, it's been pretty solid with Wyatt [Milum] and Tomas [Rimac]. So really just trying to create guys that can play different spots."

What this team blocks best

"Inside zone. I'd say outside zone is getting better. That's something that we've been constantly working at for a couple of years. We've been pretty good inside zone team."

How much having mobile quarterbacks help the o-line

"Oh, especially in the pass game. Just because you don't have a guy that's just sitting right there on the mark. As a defensive player, you've got to stay in your rush lanes. If you run a twist and you go out an extra gap, those guys will make you pay. That's really nice to have because it takes pressure off of us and makes them stay more gap-sound."

Progression of Tomas Rimac

"He's having a really good spring. He's doing a phenomenal job in the weight room and the kid's 6'6", 315 pounds and he's under 20% body fat. He is really gifted physically and he's done such a phenomenal job over the past year and a half of becoming a good player. Good body position. I feel really good about where he is. Super strong, runs really, really well."

Who the next Tomas Rimac is

"Sully Weidman. He's very similar to where Tomas was. Got a little bit of forward body lean. He's big and strong. I mean, he's 315-320 pounds. But just hadn't gotten used to that college level speed. He wants to reach and grab people and you just can't do it. As soon as you reach, those guys are going to go around you. He's made a big step from where he was to where he is now."

Where Mo Hamilton is at

"Mo has got as much talent as anybody out there. He's just got to figure out how to put it all together. He doubts himself a little bit and you can tell when a kid is really thinking because one play he's really fast and the next play he's kind of slow, you know he's doubting himself and he's not real sure what he's doing. I got to get him beyond that doubt. He knows what to do."
