CJ Donaldson's game vs. Pitt

"I thought he ran it the best he's ran it in his career. I thought CJ Donaldson was special in the game. He had 18 rushes for 102 yards and a touchdown. When he ran and got behind his pads, he was really good."

Fatorma Mulbah's game vs. Pitt

"Fatorma probably played the best game of his college career. He had 16 plays and in those 16 plays he had two tackles and three assists. He really got good push up front and the reason we took him is because of that. He really made a difference in the game."

Needing a packed house vs. Texas Tech

"Our fans were critical last week and we need them this week. This is the start of Big 12 play. This is the last game in a three-game home stretch and we feel like if we can defend our home turf then we've got a chance to have a really good year. Texas Tech, they've had our number. That'll be the story this week. It is what it is, we can't hide from it. They've beat us four years in a row and they've won the last two times they've come here. We were picked last in the conference and this is the first opportunity for us to prove the so-called experts wrong."

Garrett Greene's status

"I think it's too early to say. It's an ankle injury. I think a lot of it has to do with how he responds over the next few days. We won't play him unless he can utilize his best skillset which is his athleticism. If he can't go then Nicco will play and there's a lot of trust with him in the locker room. Guys believe in him. Garrett didn't practice today, so he got every rep. Garrett won't practice tomorrow, he'll get every rep. So you'll see a much-improved play by Nicco when he gets the majority of the reps."
