Main keys versus Penn State

"I think offensively, the strength of our football team is the offensive line. We've got to win some one-on-one battles up front versus probably the most talented group we'll play up front all year as a whole. We've got to win some one-on-ones up front and we've got to be able to break some tackles. Defensively, we've got to win in some coverage matchups. As talented as they are at running back, we've got to be able to cover them. We can't give up shots down the field. And then we've got to be able to tackle in one-on-one. We've got to run to the football and tackle their running backs in one-on-one opportunities."

If he will publicly announce the starting QB

"Nah, we've went this far we might as well let it roll."

How upsets happen

"I really think it starts with belief. You got to have belief in not only yourself, but the people around you and the plan that you're taking in to the contest. You have to have strong belief and it has to be organization-wide. Second thing is you have to eliminate errors. You can't do things that get you beat whether it's turnovers, procedure penalties, missed assignments. And then you've got to make plays. There's going to be some 50/50 balls. There's going to be a return or maybe a play on third or fourth down and you've got to make your share. You're not going to make all of them. We're not going to go and make all the plays versus Penn State, they're too talented. But we've got to make our fair share. And then your goal is you want to be there. You want to continue to hang in, hang in, hang in, and put yourself in position to win in the fourth quarter."

More on pulling off upsets

"I think anytime you're a double digit underdog and you go into enemy territory against a highly ranked opponent, there's got to be some things that go your way but you also got to have a good football team. And my belief is we've got a good football team. We just got to go prove it. It's hard to stand on a soapbox until you go out and play a game. But I like our group and we'll be hungry."

If he'll reveal any other position battle results

"Nah. And the reason I'm not getting into it a whole lot is they [Penn State] didn't have a depth chart, so I'm like meh. Everybody that you know's going to play. Everybody that y'all think might play, they're going to play. That's about as good of view of it as I can [give]."

Injuries

"We've got a couple guys that are question marks. As far as significantly not playing, I don't think we have any starters that are not going to play. We've got a couple backups that are questionable. But I think for the most part, God willing over the rest of the week that all our starters will play."
