The Wisconsin Badgers football team is looking for a bounce back after their home loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes 24-10 this past Saturday. They had no answer for Marvin Harrison, Jr. who caught two touchdowns and the offense couldn't solve the puzzle of the OSU defense, a recipe for a two-touchdown loss at Camp Randall. The attention turns to the Indiana Hoosiers, a team that put up a decent fight at Happy Valley against the Nitty Lions of Penn State.

Wisconsin Badgers vs. Indiana Hoosiers by the numbers

If you're looking for exciting football, it's not going to be this game. But, this should be a game that the Badgers are able to add to the win column if they play to their averages. The Badgers come into the game scoring nearly 25 points per game and gaining almost 379 yards per game. They have limited their opponents to only 19 points per game and 343 yards. If the Badgers can stay balanced in their approach offensively and Braedyn Locke can be efficient the Badgers should be able to put points on the board and walk away with a victory.

For their own part, the Hoosiers come into this game at 2-6, and their numbers don't look great. They only score about 15 points per game, which is good for 126th in the country. Their defense gives up 33 points per game good for 109th in the country. They give up 186 yards on the ground per game and only 219 through the air.

Prediction: Wisconsin will dominate this game

Even if Braelon Allen is unable to go this weekend, the Badgers should be able to turn out a complete victory on both sides of the football. Indiana's offense shouldn't spark fear in anyone. Though Brendan Sorsby did have a bit of a coming-out party against the Nitty Lions, the Badger defense should be sound enough to make sure he can't beat them. Not that he could anyway. Expect at least a two-touchdown victory for the Badgers something along the lines of 31-14.
