Twitter news and update reporter for Fortnite iFireMonkey took to Twitter this weekend to discuss the collaboration between Fortnite and Doctor Who, something that has been brought up many times in the past, including last year when a trusted insider said that fans should expect Doctor Who to appear in Fortnite for the show’s 60th anniversary.

According to iFireMonkey, the Doctor Who event would be two weeks long, complete with challenges, free rewards, and Item Shop cosmetics. The Item Shop would have two skins, two pickaxes, one glider, and one emote. It’s not clear if these will be bundles or not.

Continued the leaker: “There would also be a FREE Beep the Meep Spray as some sort of incentive for checking out the Creative map associated with this collaboration.”

A screenshot of Fortnite during the alleged event has also made its rounds, showing a tab called Garage Debug, which seems to relate to a previous leak of something called DelMar mode. This would be a garage where Fortnite players could do vehicle customization.

Another account added that a Tardis glider or some type of Tardis-related vehicle could be included in the update.

When Is Doctor Who Coming to Fortnite?

If the continued speculations are to be believed, Doctor Who would be coming to Fortnite on the show’s 60th anniversary. That would be around November 2023.

This isn’t the first time that Doctor Who has shown up in Fortnite.

In March of 2023, Doctor Who announced that an official island was coming to Fortnite that allows fans to explore iconic Whoniverse locations. Here’s how to access the Doctor Who island:

  1. Launch Fortnite
  2. Click “Change” to access the custom island menu
  3. Press “Play”
  4. Select Island Code
  5. Type in this code: 3610-1396-4646
  6. Press “Launch”
