Palworld has taken the video game world by storm with its intense survival gameplay, resource-grinding elements, and capturing and exploiting Pals. If you want to survive in Palworld, however, you'll need Ancient Technology Points.
Ancient Technology Points are important in Palworld because you need them to unlock new tools and items. You basically need them to ensure you have what you need to protect your base, catch more Pals, and defeat enemies and bosses.
Despite their importance, Ancient Technology Points are very rare. Here's how to get Ancient Technology Points in Palworld.
The Best Ways to Get Ancient Technology Points in Palworld
There are three main ways to get Ancient Technology Points in Palworld and they all involve beating up enemies:
- Syndicate Tower bosses
- Dungeon bosses
- Alpha Pals
The first way is to beat Syndicate Tower bosses. This is the most popular way since you get five Ancient Technology Points once you beat them down.
There are five Syndicate Towers in Palworld, one in each biome. The bosses up here are basically the final bosses of each faction in Palworld. Defeating them all essentially earns you 25 total Ancient Technology Points. Here's the recommended order:
- The Tower of Rayne Syndicate (112, -434) at level 16
- The Tower of Free Pal Alliance (185,28) at level 32
- The Tower of Brothers of the Eternal Pyre (-588, -518) at level 41
- The Tower of the PIDF (561, 334) at level 45
- The Tower of the PAL Genetic Research Unit (-149,445) at level 50
The other two ways are to defeat Dungeon bosses and Alpha Pals. When you come out victorious, you'll get one Ancient Technology Point.

Dungeons are a bit hard to find in Palworld since they're not marked on the map. Once you find a Dungeon, however, you're in luck. These appear more frequently than Alpha Pals and the bosses at the end are easier to defeat as well. Explore and look for Dungeons if you want to collect Ancient Technology Points. There are currently over 100 known Dungeons in the game.
An Alpha Pal is a massive Pal also known as an Area boss. You'll encounter them while roaming the island. They are often designated to a specific area.
What makes it even more difficult, however, is that beating the same boss again won't get you any more Points. That means you can't really beat an enemy and then wait for them to respawn to quickly farm Points.
