If there is one thing the Harlem Globetrotters know better than basketball, it is marketing, and they have shown it again with their latest draft, selecting Johnny "Football" Manziel and Landon "Futbol" Donovan to join their team.

While Manziel is likely busy preparing for his rookie season with the Cleveland Browns and laying on inflatable swans, Donovan has some free time after failing to make the US Men's Team roster for the World Cup. Plus he has some company, as the team has previously drafted USMNT goalkeeper Tim Howard, and Barcelona and Argentina striker Lionel Messi onto the team, although both unfortunately declined the invite.

The Globetrotters didn't just pick players from other sports at their eighth annual draft, also selecting possible NBA number one pick Andrew Wiggins two older brothers, Mitchell and Nick, and 7'5" New Mexico State center Sim Bhullar.
