Mariners bus ads make clever use of route numbers

Wednesday April 29th, 2015

The people of Seattle are seeing some astronomical box scores for the Mariners as part of a clever new bus advertising campaign from the team.

King County city busses have been decorated to make them appear like the team's scoreboard with the visitor's score at zero and the Mariners' score set as the route number, in the new campaign designed by the Copacino + Fujikado agency.

The Mariners are developing a reputation as having baseball's best ads, as their preseason campaigns have produced big laughs for the past few seasons.
